How to Create Search Page using View Criteria in ADF
Search Page is a necessary part of any application / software. You can create search page with create page or also create it separately. In this article I will guide you how to create page using view criteria in Oracle ADF.
Previously we covered three steps and Now this is forth one.

- Double Click on Search View on Task Flow
- When you double click on Search View, you will see popup on your screen, Click Ok
- Search Blank page has been created, now create view criteria
- Go to the Header VO
- Double click on PwcMfgPrintingProductionHVO
- Click on Query
- Click on Bind Variable (+)
- When you click on (+) sign, Popup window of Bind Variable will be open
- Name: p_doc_no
- Remove Required check sign
- Click on Control Hints

- Lable Texts: Document No.
- Display Width: 10
- Click OK
- When you click Ok, your Bind Variable has been created.
- Click View Criteria (+) sign
- Criteria Definition:
- Click on Add Item
- Attribute: PpDocNo
- Operator: Equals
- Operand: Bind Variable
- Parameter: p_doc_no
- Refresh the page. Now you will see under the Name Criteria PwcMfgPrintingProductionVOCrideria has been created. Now drag and drop into the page.
- Query + ADF Query Panel with Table
- Edit Table Columns
- Row Selection: (Single Row, Enable Sorting, Enable Filtering)
- Columns: Select your columns which you want to display in your search page and change the Display Label
- Click OK
- After Click OK, you will ses your Table's Fields + Search Criteria has been created.
